Clearing my backlog, I may be some time.

So, I may be 23 years late, but i finally completed GTA3. Thoughts? Combat is terrible, driving is fun, some of the missions are downright infuriating, some of them really fun. Yes I did use the weapons cheat on the final mission because, as above, combat sucks. I also have no idea how PS2 players managed the sniper sections, did it have aim assist on or something? Had to resort to K&M for Bomb Da Base, sniping with a controller was impossible. So, rather than going alphabetically, I'll go chronological and move onto GTA Vice City. Time for me some shoulder pads and big hair.

Fallout is being a bit of a challenge. 2 problems seem to be at the heart of it. I was never really into turn based combat games. It requires some serious time put into it, and I'm not I the right frame on mind to sink that much into 1 game. So I've decided to focus on shorter titles for now. So since last time I've run through the cute but enjoyable Mini Ninjas. Really enjoyed it on 360 when it was released, and it did not disappoint this time. Sound is broken on PC, and the windows fixes aren't easily applicable to linux/proton, but that did not really detract from the fun gameplay. Moving onto GTA3 next. Oh yeah. This should be good.

Ok, still could not get settled in fallout, so decided to finally finish Cry Of Fear. And finished it i did. Got the "good(?)" ending and actually really enjoyed the back half of the game. Also decided to try and see if Silent Hill Homecoming worked on Linux, as the windows version is an absolute dumpster fire. Well, it works better on modern Linux than it ever did on Windows, even on release, so after owning this game for 16 years, I've finally been able to finish that too.
